A dance social is built around social dancing, meeting people, and dancing with different partners. You may stay with your own partner, but dancing with others is encouraged.
This is a private event for Jehovah’s Witnesses and their families. Venue personnel, contracted vendors, security, the DJ, and approved event assistants may also be present.
Children ages 12 and younger receive free admission. They must still have a free child ticket, check in, and remain with an adult throughout the event.
Absolutely no running is allowed on or around the dance floor. One warning will be given. If it happens again, the guest and supervising adult may be asked to leave.
Yes. Every attendee must check in upon arrival and receive an event wristband. Keep your wristband on if you plan to leave and reenter.
Yes. Security will be stationed at the entrance to help maintain a safe and organized event.
No outside food or drinks are permitted. Water will be provided, and Esta Pizza is directly next door to the venue.
No. Partner rotation is required for everyone participating in the class. Guests who do not want to rotate may watch and join the social afterward.
Absolutely. You may dance with your partner throughout the night—just don’t be surprised if someone else asks you to dance!
No. Costumes are strongly encouraged but not required. Regular clothing is completely welcome.
Costumes must remain family-friendly and appropriate for an all-ages event. Offensive, explicit, excessively revealing, or unsafe costumes and realistic weapon props are not permitted.
Not at all. The event begins with a beginner-friendly dance class, and dancers of every experience level are welcome.
No. You may attend alone, with a partner, or with a group. The class includes partner rotation, and the social is designed to help everyone dance and connect.
Yes. The contests and games are included with event admission, with no separate contest fee. Official participation details and rules will be announced before the event.
Yes. Reentry is allowed as long as you keep your event wristband on.
Tickets are nonrefundable, but they may be transferred to another guest before the event.
Yes. Photography and video recording will occur throughout the event. Event media may be used by Shine Dance Academy for promotional and business purposes.
Yes. Children may receive the same event meal deal. The meal is not included with free child admission and must be purchased separately through Esta Pizza.
